Start with current DCCA information
Hawaii guard registration, instruction, training, testing and continuing-education requirements can change. Review the current DCCA and Hawaii statutory materials rather than relying on an old provider deadline or an advertisement.
Initial training and renewal are different questions
Ask whether the information applies to a person preparing for initial registration or to an already registered guard completing continuing education. Class pricing, state fees, fingerprinting and other costs may be separate and should not be presented as one universal statewide amount.
What Hawaii Secure can and cannot promise
Hawaii Secure promotes training led by an instructor with Act 208 guard-training authority. Training information does not promise a credential, state registration, employment, placement or acceptance of an application. Confirm current steps with the appropriate Hawaii authority.
